Sounds like a good idea.

Manufactures seem to know how to run stuff in, just follow their advice.

I would take it that 2/4 throttle is while riding it as well, not just throttle set at 2/3 and reving away.

You left it idling for 50 minutes? Shocked Who told you to do that?

You have probably cooked the oil and need to change it ASAP. If that's all the damage you have done you are lucky! You are also lucky it didn't catch fire. I have known bikes go up in flames after being left about 20 minutes from cold.

Run it in hard. Hard acceleration, hard deceleration. Change your oil now, and change it again after 20 miles or so, I say.

hi,

it has an inner rotor kit what makes it rev like a 2 stroke engine.

I would say run it gently, gradually increasing how hard you run the engine as the miles go by. Running an engine hard from new will seriously decrease it`s life span in my opinion.

All the best,

Richard

You shouldn't have left it idling for 50 minutes. You need to put force on the pistons rings during run-in to get a proper seal. Idling will not do this, nor will a gentle run-in; in fact, you will do more harm than good by cradling your engine in cotton wool like this.

as Finglonga has stated leaving it idling was just dumb,
its a air/oil cooled bike. it needs air moving past it to cool the bike down,
i wouldnt be surprised if you have warped the head,
too late now Crying or Very sad

It will do the opposite as the engine needs a load and cooling to bed the parts in.

If it hasn't warped the head, the barrel will be glazed and running in will not touch it. The damage will have been done. Watch your oil level as I suspect it will start using lots of it soon. Confused
