I'm sat here on my lunch break at home, the sun is shining and the roads are dry. Seen a load of bikes out on the road on my way home. And I have to be back at work in about half an hour Thumbs Down . What's the forecast for tomorrow when I'm not at work? Rain and wind of course! Evil or Very Mad . It's not fair Crying or Very sad .

The government would have us believe this is all down to climate change. What a load of wank.

But yes it is rather crap. This whole year has been a bit of a washout, still at least next year should be good, hopefully.

I was kept up for half the night by the rain pounding against my window and everything outside.

And it soaked me on the way to and from work. Though my waterproofs did their job almost 100% perfectly, I did find out my pants' crotch isn't quite up to scratch in heavy rain.

Fuckin' weather indeed.

There was a 2 hour spell where the sun was shining, ideal weather for cleaning the bike.

Give it 2 hours when I ride to work and it will be pissing it down again.

Meh.

Tell me about it. I can't keep to my usual cleaning routine so I've decided to buy a cleaner bike instead.

Excuse me, whatever the weather I will be out on my bike Shocked

The only time I use the car is if I need to do more shopping than my bike can carry.

Well I chickened out and nicked the car for Thursday and Friday, well I was actually having it Friday anyway to attend a physio appointment. But when they close the M48 severn crossing due to high winds I know it's gonna be bad. Sure enough Thursday morning 50mph gusts on the M5 Avonmouth bridge, was scary even in the car... Shocked

I need to invest in a proper set of waterproofs. I have some florescent rainproof troosers but they only stop my balls from getting wet.

It was chucking it down this morning and windy, but I chose to go to work on the bike & leave car at home.

Was working today.Evil or Very Mad

Whilst on my way to Kirkbymoorside on the A170 the rain slowly gave way to snow up Sutton Bank.

It was settling on the road. Pics are from the viewing point at the top of Sutton Bank.
