A mate left the recent PS3 mag at work for me to look at, and it said its been pushed back to 2009. Im hoping its wrong.

Looks good, but some of the car chases the graphics look barely an improvement on the previous versions.

The actual plot looks sweet though.

Also if it was released early, we'd just be the beta testers anyway, such is the way games are made these days.

GTA is a benchmark in gaming & it does look great, but because it's been so long & because there's been so many free roaming games like GTA, it's kinda lost it's novelty.

Can't wait to here what soundtrack they'll be using.

To be honest I went off GTA after Vice City, I thought San Andreas was pure crap and just the same old gangster rubbish! Will probably pick up GTA4 at somepoint but it's not very high on my list, cool video though love the 'Shitzu'

To me a game is about game play not graphics.

I am tired of this regurgitated crap. Hold down the trigger and run and look at the pretty grass or the high res textures.

This will be different the GTA series has always been good I can see this being an amazing game.

Hell they have recreated New York city with loads of people walking around and they give you guns and cars and bikes. Oh the fun to be had.

And there isn't a lot of free roaming games. There's saints row which is like the only thing that comes close.

Crysis was supposed to be free roam but there are still loading points.

This game will rock, nuff said.

exactly, agreed McGee. This is what the game developers are releasing as well, finally!

Its not about having 3 billion colours per pixels on the screen, just look at warcraft. Its probably the most successful game ever and still continues to sell thousands of copies a day and the graphics being nothing special.
