This is my first bike and i built it when i was 15.

I wanted something fast so bought some stuff to go with it...
polini 80cc cylinder kit, doppler race crank, 21mm carb, and expansion chamber that was built for my 80 kit.

It tops out at 70mph (leaning down and clocked by a car) and the accelaration would probably be the same as a DT125.

Now i need to get a new set of piston rings, bigger carb, port the engine casing and maybe port the exaust port to give it a little extra power.

Nice bike but I think 70mph is enough. You will regret putting lots of money into it when you come to do your test and have no money.

Was gonna say, it's pointless it doing 70mph and spending loads of money on tuning parts if you let it fall apart and degrade and have to sell it for a tenner to some oik.

Get it sorted cosmetically fing quick, or it'll have the resale value of a large French executive saloon.

lovely bike! Thumbs Up its nice to see a well looked after bike with a lot of time put into it. Seems a shame you've only got it for a year though. Keep it up! try and save 3 - 4 grand for when your 17 then you can buy a lovely 600 and insure restrict, do your test etc. all covered! might even have a bit of cash left for some leathers!
