Bluddy flippin xbox 360s and the red rings of death! Evil or Very Mad

Anyway... we got a 360 about 10 months ago. 4 week ago it died. the red ring scenario. My OH and kid love love LOVE the xbox Crying or Very sad

A very sad, mournful day in our house. OH sent it back to be repaired, but couldn't wait TWO WHOLE WEEKS for the repair so he went out and got us a brand new 360 Elite! Marvellous thing.
Sanity restored

Until today...
OH went off on his trip yesterday, taking the original 360 with him.
So, what does God,(ie Bill Gates), do to me and kid -
kills my 360 Elite!! Crying or Very sad

More bluddy bummin red rings of death! On a 4 week old new console
How could this happen? I thought it was an old problem and new consoles are fine!??? Obviously not

I called the xbox support line. Their system is down!
Shocked

I have to call back in a few hours...
I was going to make an irony joke on the line to them. But couldn't be arsed

I would go out and buy another, but I'll only have to get that fixed in a few weeks time

take it back to the store and tell them it doesn't work, they should give you a replacement. if not they might just tell you to send it back to Microsoft.

If you can't be arsed to wait for Mr Gates to fix it then do the swap scam.

go buy another elite, put your red ringed xbox 360 into the box and you keep the good one, take it back for a refund and say it doesn't work.

The shop should take it back Jodie. Bloke at work took his back and after some bargaining they even let him keep his old hard drive.

You really dont want to be sending the elite back to MS as this takes around 20 days normally, may be a bit longer at this time of year. I think im on my third box now, might be the fourth I cant remember. Either way this red ring of death is a right pain in the arse!!!! Ha ha ha!
