Went to SDC performance in stevenage this wednesday, to check the bike after having the subchamber removed some time ago and to try to achieve better fuelling.
After having a dyno run and new main jet fitted etc, the bike showed better fuelling after 4.5Krpm, (also 1+hp wohoo!) paid the man and went about getting to puckeridge where my mates work.
Never done this before so i switched on the garmin i3, i've not used it until now, it started showing me the way, around some roundabouts and eventually off the beaten track to some lovely little country roads, (well they were to me as i'm a city boy).
In the middle of nowhere the gps cuts out, batteries died?
Whatever, I needed to get it working so pulled over and changed them, it works!
I found out later that the batteries rattled loose and cut the power, if anyone has this unit, check the batteries don't move when hit from the left side, if they do just pull the connectors on the lid out slightly.
Anyway, as i'm a city rider, this was a lovely and relaxing experience (not the 90mph caning down the A1 or A10 but the slow 30mph trot through the sunny countryside of wherever i was
Just thought I should share one of these beautiful views with you all.

I may try and get nearly lost again some day.
BTW, SDC performance are great, very knowledgable and genuine folks. Thanks guys, she's purrin' like a kitten. |

It has a lead but i only have an optimate (tamiya) battery connector on board at the moment, i must look into bodging a fag lighter socket on.
Now i know the unit is worth the 50 quid i bought it for on ebay i may use it properly. |

Sadly I went into SDC and it turns out they have been raided and stolen bikes have been found on the premises. I was told the owner had been arrested and no one else knew what was happening. ..bit worrying.
thought id give you the heads up.
and offer a stella to anyone who is having one.
