Gear Problems!! Keith or Anyone?

Recently when I put the Bandit into first gear it make a really loud CRUNCHING noise and I mean louder than any normal gearbox I have heard.

I have checked the Gear Oil and it is fine.

I presumed it might be the fact the clutch lever is crap and is getting harder to pull in.

But could it be clutch/gear plates??

Hi

It is getting colder which will make problems like this worse. Basically some bikes are quite prone to it (my FZ is bad, my 1200 Bandit is OK, but gets worse as it warms up Rolling Eyes

)

Check the clutch adjustment, and also check you have the correct oil in the engine
