As the title kinda suggests, I want to re-locate my thermostat on the FZR750 as it sits on the radiator and looks ugly as sin (would normally be hidden by the fairing but that is now gone)
Has anyone done this before? any tips?

All help appreciated, Joe

Not going to be a cheap or easy task.
Construct a new housing that is watertight fitted somwhere, then have to mess around finding out what the temps on it need to be, as you have moved it and the water temp will now be slightly diffrent to where it was mounted before....

Might even be cheaper to source some new fairings.

There are loads of bikes out there that have remote thermostat housings. Just find one of those and hide it away somewhere.

If you are into making things, one thing you might consider is cutting up a thermostat housing so it's a cylinder and fitting it inside the top hose held with a clip. I had a car like that once (French, don't ask) and spent about a week looking for the damn thing.
