Is it just me or are all online bikeshop websites SO SHYTE ? Maybe its just cause im looking at it from a software developers pov ... Ive ordered lots of things online, r/c helicopter equipment, books, pc hardware and bikeshops seem to have made websites as an after-thought, they need to realize how much business they are losing cause of bad websites ....

Anyone else find this a problem or am I just a moany bitch ? :)

IF anyone can correct me and point me to some propper websites please ... :)

1 example : www.bikeworld.ie .... biggest bikeshop in dublin ... the worst thing Ive ever seen :)

Bikeworld aint tooo bad! Has a decent amount of links etc. Have you been to there new store. Its bloody huge and very well laid out. Worth a look. The entire front window of the 3 story warehouse is filled with different bikes!! Looks very impressive froim the road!

Do you fly choppers rjuch? Ive done a bit of fixed wing flying myself but always wanted to try the whirley birds!

Yeah I flew fixed wing for a year, and I flew helicopters for about 1.5 years .... didnt bring it with me when I came here, Ive been doing some investigating and It doesent seem like helicopters are very big here ? Even smaller crowd than south africa and I thaught south africa was bad :)

Hi Springbok_Tony,
Bikeworld is in Dublin (Ireland) so its a bit far from Kent. Im sure you have similar stores near you!

I have a friend in Florida doing his PPL. Should be back soon after four weeks of flying. Im bloody jealous. I decided to spend the money I saved for my PPL on an NS-1. Oh well! If you want to get a job with BA by cadet entry dont get your PPL. Airlines like to train you their own way and having a PPL will reduce your chances. On the other hand if your going for direct entry, get your PPL and then do your CPL. Thats if you can afford it.
I was planning on applying for Aer Lingus this year after finishing school but since the whole Sept 11th thing pilots aren't in a whole lota demand.
Anyway Goodluck!!
Shamrock.
