It seems this man is untouchable. Such a flagrant disregard for health and safety would see most people walking into a job centre clutching a P45 looking for a new job, but not slippy-dicky Brunstrom, he gets an extra layer of gold leaf on his statue.

I just drove past the police HQ and climbing that scaffolding really is putting your life in the lap of the gods.

Don't the builders/workmen climb the scaffolding a lot?

Yeh that's right, they climb it a lot (so they're used to it) and they use safety equipment, they attend training courses and have qualifications schemes that aren't earned in an afternoon.

Don't traffic police break the speed limit a lot? Think that works as an excuse?

All the best

Builders have to wear protective boots, and hard hats.

Someone should report him to the HSE.

having just left a scaffolding company, i have to say that ive not met many scaffolders with that many working brain cells, just because they have safety equipment and tickets , doesnt mean they show any real skills at being health and safety concious, in fact the amount of complaints we got about them not sticking to the rules became quite tedious, it isnt difficult to climb scaffolding, there are ladders etc, to be fair most of the phone calls we had during school holidays were complaints about little darlings on the top of scaffolds hurling roof tiles at passers by while their parents were watching jeremy kyle . when said parents were informed, we were threatened with law suits should any of their precious little angels fell off etc!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

Wait for the first few deaths from ruptured internal organs from having a 7-8 stone dog with a metal reinforced muzzle lob itself at you.

Of course having a cut arm from a dog bite is far more dangerous than that.

Did you read the full statement?

Quote:
Police chief breaks into his HQ

A chief constable has checked whether his headquarters is safe against burglars - by scaling scaffolding and climbing through a window whilst wearing a Batman outfit and cowboy boots.
North Wales Police's Richard Bumstrom staged the "break-in" because he thought it would look cool.

The building at Colwyn Bay, Conwy, is undergoing a £3.4m government overspend and it's coming out of your council tax.

The chairman of his police authority said security had not changed one bit as a result - but he would advise everyone else to repeat Mr Bumstrom's actions because if it's safe for a copper to do it then it must be safe for the general public.

It is not known whether Mr Bumstrom has any equipment as his wife always looks so sad.

It also remains unclear how many of the building's four storeys he scaled looking like Batman.

We are pleased that security at police headquarters has been revised and improved as a result of the chief constable's actions but... are very sad that he didnt sustain at least a broken leg or crushed bollocks in the incident.

The building is undergoing its first major refurbishment since it was built in 1972.

As part of the development, all windows and doors will be boarded up and the facility closed down due to his incompetence.

It is far from the first time Mr Bumstrom has been in the headlines.

He is outspoken against speeding motorists, wants drugs to be legalised, and has allowed himself to be "shot" with a Taser stun gun as the force expanded the use of the weapons to rural areas.

Last week, Mr Bumstrom entered the row over police pay by using his blog on the force website to describe ministers' behaviour as "a step in the right direction to target twat coppers who think more for publicity than doing their job".

A force spokeswoman said: "North Wales Police headquarters is currently being run down as a result of this numptys actions"

"We can confirm that the chief constable is a complete twat."

Ian Roberts, chair of the North Wales Police Authority, said: "This prize A pillock should grow up, get a life, leave all the bikers alone and concentrate on catching real criminals instead of pissing off the very people he thinks he is helping and protecting."

Well thats how it should have read Wink
