G reg NSR with 99 foxeye engine for sale

Right, basically this bike doesnt enjoy doing the short journey i do to college each day, it doesn't give it enough time to warm up or even replenish the power the battery has used up starting.

I'm just posting this add to discover any interest in the bike but if there is a reasonable offer made i'll accept it as i'm going to put the money towards doing my test and buying an nc30.

Right basically:

The bike is a 1990 Honda NSR 125. It is derestricted as far as i'm aware as the revs don't seem limited, nor is there a baffle in the exhaust.

This bike has a low milage 99 'Foxeye' Engine fitted.

It's also painted in a Rothmans style.

The bike has a new spark plug, new oils throughout and new fork seals. Loads of tread on both tyres and the frame was sandblasted and painted by the previous owner.

The few bad parts about the bike, it requires a new choke cable as the caeing is worn, it will however just need adjusting to the correct tension if you don't want to buy a new one.

The only damage to the bike is asthetic, some of the fairing bolts holes are missing/snapped and i believe two of the fairings are cracked. The indicators were glues on to the inside of the fairings by the previous owner, i've repaired one with a white heavy duty glue which matches the fairing and i'm about to do the other.

Some of the fairings are loose, btu this is because it doesnt have all the bolts/holes for them.

As far as the mechanics of the bike go it's perfect, it doesn't like the cold so needs to be warmed up for a while but once youve had it running and its warm it goes like a dream and will start every time if the batteries full. It is however running a bit rich.

the new foxeye engine, to my knowlege, only had 5k miles on it. the bike itself has done 13789k.

All electrics are perfect, brake pads are very good and if im completely honest there is ntohing wrong with this bike other than asthetics.

The biek is HPI clear, has no outstanding finance etc. It also Has 11months MOT and 12 Months Tax.

Very cheap to insure, i got third party at £217.00
