I'm getting a pair of RST Vortex boots for christmas. Only 40 quid I think and the pair I tried on were really warm and comfortable. My 2p.

Hmmm, Stormtroopers.....

I'm buying myself a new pair of tyres. No idea what I'll be getting for Christmas, probably socks, or a book with words in.

I can't wait.

yumm tasty looking sidi's i'd imagin theyre a little out of price range though, right?

The ones in that link looked pretty good for the money, any other feedback on them apart from feeling cheap?

If the words are missing, then is it just paper you will be getting?

Good point.

Here's hoping it's a colouring in book, I really like those.

If i had that amount id probly go for some sidi black rain evos their 130 pounds i think and their a good all round boot warm and water proof while still offering a good amount of feeling. They also stop cars that plow straight into your left leg from breaking your foot and ankle.
Great boots they are

On a £130 budgit (£150 at a push) so £210 is a little OTT Laughing

Got to admit the sidi's dont look bad though,

the range in my nearest bike dealer isnt huge so im going to try and get to the local hein gerik when i can, i got my helmet there just over a year ago, it was discounted from £120 down to £40 just because it was the previous years model Laughing what are RST boots like? my hemet is RST and i've had no problems with that but the boots seem to be so much cheaper than everything else on the market, is there a reason?

cheers

Those Sidi Vertigos are good, i got a pair in white at the NEC, paid 120 for them. Been wearing them in the cold recently and my feet have been fairly comfortable and warmish. I like the ratchet system on the calf bit for a bit of a custom fit. Not looking forward to being caught in a downpour with them on though. Next bit of kit i think is gonna be a white power ranger suit and white gloves to go with them.
