Greetings, Bought myself a KLX 650 1993 'thumper' a couple of days ago, pretty much stock trim, quite abit of rust attacking it aswell  , so lots of sanding down and respraying literally the whole bike!
Not sure what colour to spray the frame, as you can see, its an awful looking purple, Ive narrowed it down to either Metallic Silver, Green or Graphite, will have to sleep on it for now..
Things ive bought for it already:
New tank (current one has a couple of small dents)
New rear fender (sharper looking)
New front supermoto fender
Seat cover (black)
Things i'll order soon
909 monkey metal bars
New rad shrouds
Some sort of sticker kit
Fork Guards
LED rear light/tail tidy
Stainless steel bolt kit
Heres a stock trim picture,just so you know what it looks like.

Secure Parking Anyone? Right into the back room , Nobody uses it anyways. right we have some small progress...
Its got the bridgestone battlax BT090s on, think there old tyres as the back keeps stepping out, its good fun though 
Wheels need a good polish too!

Stripped and Ive masked everything off, will get it into the backyard when weather permits, Ive got a little tent thingy which I can spray it under, shouldnt take me long, Reckon I'll have it done by monday, then when I get back from work I'll put it all back together hopefully all the bits get here by monday.

oh and dont worry the 'special' paintwork is going, Decided to go for a Metallic black in the end for the frame, matt finish, and all green panels, with a basic sticker kit.

Id be careful with the green panels mate...what kinda green are you going for? Do it right, it'll look good and tasteful...get it slightly wrong and I think it could easily look 
Nice bike though, can forsee it looking good 
I think silver for the frame, I know silvers a bit normal, but it looks good.
Cant wait to see what it looks like

dont worry mate, Im getting green plastics, only thing I will be spraying is the tank 
I cant decide between Silver and Graphite, Silver I think might be difficult to make it look good, graphite will be easily, hmm.
