Police fire Taser into head of innocent man

Police fired a 50,000-volt Taser into the head of a 45-year-old company director who later proved to be unarmed and innocent. Daniel Sylvester, the owner of an east London security firm employing 65 staff to guard council offices, pubs and nightclubs, was driving home on October 20 when he was stopped by armed police because of “firearms related intelligence”.

According to Sylvester, he got out of his car and was surrounded by officers, at least two of whom were carrying automatic weapons. Without warning, one officer fired a Taser into the back of his head which made him drop to his knees, he said. A second shock caused him to fall on his face, breaking a front tooth. A further six shocks made him wet himself and left him lying in the road in pain while the officers and sniffer dogs searched the car and found nothing…

“Armed police jumped out and opened my car door,” he said. “I said OK, I’m coming. I asked what was going on and as soon as I stepped out of the car I felt something touch me on the back of the head and then I was on my knees. Then it happened again and I was on my face and I felt somebody pressing my head down with their foot. By the fifth time I realised officers were pinning my arms together. It was like they were trying to break my arms and I was in pain, screaming out.

“I was shocked eight times altogether and I had urinated on the floor. It was like being tortured. It went on and on and I felt they were going to kill me.”

but since the police are utter scum and they know for a fact that they can execute innocents without any,

But hey when trust in police is negative 2000% , it can't get any lower, and I wonder who's sympathy they'll get when the police go on strike?

I was watching one of hose stop police type programs the other day, when some cops stopped a large group of youths on peds. it was unusual in the fact they were in a dark road in a large group and some were not wearing their lids properly on their heads while riding in circles. So Cops go to have a look and a chat.
Speak to one lad who is laid back and ok with what they had to say, then another guy comes up to them rants and raves about human rights and that the police are just paid thugs and only stopped them because they were racist. The torrent of abuse went on for a while. The police just tried to calm things down as they just wanted to see all was ok and in order. But the second ped rider just went on and on and on.
the first ped rider who was laid back and was the only one to be actually stopped by the police to be spoken to was white. the second ped rider who hadn't even been approached by the police was Black American and the only black in the group.
Now I know the police were on camera and so were being on their best behaviour, but some people just love playing up to the stereotypes. If I was one of the police there I would have used a tazzer just to shut the git up.

Agreed, on the evidence we're presented with the only difference is the colour of their skin. You can't defend the indefensible and by their own admission they are "institutionally racist" I don't see any evidence to the contrary since that report was commissioned. Most of the time I can swallow their crap because of the "service" they provide but it's instances like this that make even bleeding heart liberal-conservative-lefties like myself say "Oi, that's just not cricket old boy"

These tazers are scary as hell. Police all over the world seem to be using them on randomers who've done nothing wrong in particular in order to test them out.

Freestyler, your post is a little confusing. Are you saying that because this is the first time you have learned of this particular alleged incident, it is unlikely to be based on any small amount of truth?

I think the story/thread brings to light the police state we live in and the fact that gordon's gestapo are tazering people for the sake of it. However, if one is a "hey, well thats the way of the world" type of person, then ones rose coloured spectacles will make the world a beautiful place to live, until......
