The whitewash continues. Remember all those lies that came out immediately after the murder of Menezes?

"Last week, the IPCC ruled that the UK's former top anti-terror officer, Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman, should be given "advice" about his future conduct following his involvement in the shooting.

The watchdog said he had "misled" the public, but should not face disciplinary proceedings.
"

Misled, Mis-lead: 1. To lead in the wrong direction.
2. To lead into error of thought or action, especially by intentionally deceiving.

Just stinks to high heaven. Thumbs Down Makes me sick and so very angry.

It seems that the people who are meant to be serving our interests can get away with pretty much whatever they want!

Instead of being punished, they get let off the hook just to do it again.

Andy Hayman = Vermin.

Its called favours,

Top cop is in the wrong for lying to the public and the cops at the incident altered their reports very obviously a few days after the original report

(it was something like the purp has been indentified changed to the purp has NOT been indentified).

The labour party force this, so that cops now owe the Labour party a big favour,

Gordon brown and his cabal got caught money laundering

That is...

To conceal the origins of money

thus cops repay the favour..

Oh and maybe folks should add the book Animal farm to your reading lists too.

EDIT

Clear evidence that we live in a feudalist society with a pretend democracy,

Ie the Barons send tribute to the King , the king grants rights to the Barons to screw over the peasants even more, next year the Barons send tribute to the King , the king grants rights to the Barons to screw over the peasants even more, etc etc

with Barons being the wealthy elite who own huge shares in corporations and the king being parliment.

Oh of course, I completely agree. Honour amongst theives and all that. Remember the commentary regarding the appointment of certain positions around Tony bLIAR; turns out key figures in authority were his old buddies. In essence he had surrounded himself with friends.

Knowing all this just makes it worse. Aggggh! Middle Finger Evil or Very Mad

Probably but then many people don't know this its why such people get away with such things. As many people are distracted by other things "bread and circuses" comes to mind, I shocked a few people last week with benefit money is over 100% of income tax , (reality is though this does include pensions too so its not THAT bad).

the bottom line is that in the days of the IRA, a shoot to kill policy on terrorists was always denied, as it was seen as unlawful.

Nowadays, they decided that you can kill a suspect, if its possible they may be going to detonate a bomb that could kill many people. That sort of makes sense, but if he really had a bomb, they shouldnt have let him get to busy areas, and there is no way of telling if someone is going to detonate a bomb, so they have basically just given themselves a license to go out and kill people who they cant really know are a danger to the public.

It does seem somewhat odd that the basic strategy appears to have been...

"Let's allow the guy to leave his building, then follow him until he gets to a busy area and suddenly decide to stop him, but in such a place that his immediate execution becomes necessary".

Why didn't they collar him immediately? "Let's see if he's going to the park for a fag or taking a bomb onto the tube. We'll decide what to do to him depending on where he's headed".

They really are complete cretins, and supposedly the cream of the crop, given the critical nature of their job?

The job should have been simple: let him come out of his building, order him to hit the deck with his hands in clear view, shoot him instantly if he didn't keep his hands in sight.

But nah, that would have been too simple. Best to allow him to get into a heavily populated area, so that their options became seriously limited and the maximum amount of casualties could be caused if it all went pete tong.

Where do they find these wankers?
