PostPosted: 23:27 - 24 Dec 2007    Post subject: Fake ID Reply with quote

Anyone here ever used any?

I don't really NEED it, but i have quite a lot of mates that are 18 and it's annoying not being able to get into a pub without ID.

I'm only 17 btw, my dad buys me all the booze i want but its not the same!

I have a few sites that are apparently good, but they are "novelty fake id cards". I don't know how trustworthy or realistic they are.

Any reccomendations (or abuse) will be welcomed.

Thanks, Jack

Did you get a proof of age card when you were in year 8/9 at school? Get one of those of your mate who is 18 and does not use his (using a driving license instead) and use it. It does not even matter if you look different, alot of doormen will let you in if you tell them the changes (contacts instead of glasses etc). Not sure about supermarkets though, they are all extremely strict.

Thanks for that help, i did get told that you can also get a mate to say they have lost their drivers license card and send for another and give it to you, as long as you look similar.

I didn't get a proof of age card in my school, im not sure if my mates did though. Ill have to find out.

Thanks, Jack Thumbs Up

Every shop/bar etc can smell a fake ID a mile off. If it doesn't have the "PASS" Hologram or isn't a genuine passport or Driving licence, most shops will tell you to fuck off.

Believe me the amount of training bars and shops go through on under age drinking is insane.

Why don't you just learn to wait like the rest of us did?

Even though the training is extensive, it is often not put into full practice. A friend of mine even got served in Tesco's because he told the cashier he had "left his ID in his flat" Neutral And most bars/clubs/pubs don't really care at all in my experiences.

Do you live in 2003?

Things have changed a fair bit since then. Nobody wants to be on the wrong end of a test purchase, believe me.

I see where you are coming from, I work in Sainsbury's and all supermarkets now are getting really strict with the "Think 21/25" campaign. But it is still just so easy to get alcohol as a teen. Confused

You waited? Laughing

Went into a club with my sister when I visited her at Uni. I was 15 at the time. She got Id'd and I didn't. Was a very good night as well Wink

Also, I didn't go through any training whatsoever about asking for ID and what to look out for. Meh.

No way, but I was underage before they got really strict on it.

I'm just telling him that 80% of bar staff and shop staff can smell fake ID a mile off.

I've been ID'd for a bloody hot chocolate at 18 in wetherspoons coventry, so I can imagine it being harder for a 17 year old to get anywhere these days.

Yeah it's true.

I've even been ID'd to buy a bike magazine in WH Smiths! Had all my bike gear on as well.

Person behind me started laughing at the woman and said "What's the point in ID'ing him?!"

Stupidly ridiculous tbh.

Also, some places are much stricter than others and it also depends the town you are at Razz

Fake id's do not work, end of.

Unless you can get fake passports/driving licences.

My mate paid £50 to have his driving licence altered a few years ago and it worked each and every time, because it was a real licence.
If you can't get someone to do that then theres not a lot else you can do.

My local towns are shit hot on id nowadays.

Know people who have used mates cards cos they look similar, I got my own and haven't looked back, also been in ful bike gear and been ID'd for car mags and stuff. Even went in Netto and tried to get some booze and cos my sister(13) was in the vacinity I couldn't get served even with ID, they had no proof whether I was buying for her (which I weren't) and if I did, surely it's my choice to buy for an underage and get an on-the-spot fine, not their decision to prevent this. I once seen a fellow get cited for not recognizing a fake ID in a small pizza place that served beer. Short version of the story, he got fired. Utter bullshit, if you ask me.

I know that some places are stricter, i live in a small town and a few of my mates get in without being ID'd which is why its possible.

I know a guy at work that is the same height/weight as me and looks extremely similar, he's 18 so could always get him to say he lost his licence and then pay him for it.

Jon i would wait, i thought i could. But when half your mates go out and your not aloud it's quite annoying when your stuck at home drinking on your own or with only 1 mate. And im not the type to go down the bus stop and drink.
