As a few of you may know, I run a supplements company called DamtecSupplements. It's all going well as sales are flooding in from the gym where the products are based. However, I have had a go at designing my own website via html and to be honest, its, well, shit...

I know there is a wide range of knowledge on this forum so i though i would ask for some help. Could someone possibly help me redesign or ammend any aspects of my webby.

my webby is, www.damtecsupplements.co.uk

Karma, tic tacs and jaffa cakes will be given Thumbs Up

Thanks all, Mr. Green

Damo

The fact that it's (needlessly) using frames is a bad thing.

The style sheet isn't working, so you're using a browser's default font too, which means you've no idea how it will render on things like Macs, Linux, different browsers etc, because it depends on what font they use as default.

This is why the style sheet doesn't work:
Code:
<head>
    <title>Damtec Supplements, changing the trends in sports supplements.</title>
    <meta name="description" content="Damtec Supplemenent specialise in 100% pure, clean supplements with no bulking agents. ">
    <meta name="keywords" content="supplements,creatine,monohydrate,guarana,natural,pure,muscle ,steriods,health,tab,damtec,supp,growth,tablet,powder,protein,protien,custom gifts, pulse health and fitness, gym. ">
</head>
<style type="text/css"><head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<style type="text/css">
<!--
body,td,th {
   font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
   font-size: 12px;
   color: #FFFFFF;
}
body {
   margin-left: 0px;
   margin-top: 0px;
   margin-right: 0px;
   margin-bottom: 0px;
   background-color: #333333;
}
-->
</style></head>

Spot the mistake!

There's black text on a black background at the bottom (fixing style sheet should sort it), and in order to fit that image in of the arrow at the bottom you've just hit enter a few times and set the image to the right of the page, don't do that, use a table.

There's also randomly 52 blank lines at the end of the html?

Having it hosted on freewebs isn't the best idea, those companies seem to just die at random all the time.

You can't get back from the basket to the site either, "continue shopping" doesn't work.

Lose the counter!

Would you be able to draw something up for me at all. I really only know the absolute basics of creating a website. All help is appreciated.
Regarding hoting the website, do you know any over hosting sites that do not cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks alot, karma given

Not at the moment unfortunately, supposed to be revising. Wink

I use https://www.34sp.com/hostingfeatures, only £17.95 a year for the most basic package, top notch support too. Others are cheaper but don't have the support.
