Right well my dad is selling a load of old phones and we have got a Nokia 3310.
We want the background to just say the network again rather than McFly, but how do we do it?

That logo has replaced the operator logo. You need to put the operator logo on there the same way you put that logo on there.

Back in the day I used to use a data cable and "logomanager" software.

That's the thing though, it was that long ago we can't remember how we did it. I definately didn't use a data cable though.

I expect restoring factory settings would sort it out.

You need some sort of code to do it and we don't have the code.

Oh I loved that phone.
It was great.
A classic in its time Thumbs Up

I only ever text and phone, so one of those would still be perfect for me. I used to love being able to change the covers.

I'm 100% certain that restoring factory settings won't do it.

The operator logo has been *replaced* with that one, the phone now has no idea what the operator logo should be. As far as it's concerned that's the right one.

The only way to do it is to place that logo with the operator one, be it by a data lead of some jamster style thing.
