I baught it from game, and wondered if i could return it, either saying that I baught it for someone and make up some excuse? Just wanted to know if there is anything i can do?

all replys appreciated.

Do you have the receipt? If you have the receipt there will be no bother. Just tell them the truth that you don't want it any more and you want your money back.

If you don't have the receipt then they might not be so accomodationg, they might say that you have to have vouchers or something.

Try and get it into as good a condition as possible, with all the cables etc bundled up exactly as you found them. Or you could sell it on ebay!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

If its been used, there is zero chance of this happening (I worked there for 4 years, sadly).
At the moment, you can return anything within 28days provided the seal they put on it is not broken. As soon as this is broken you can not return it - the 10 day return policy no longer exists (and it didn't cover consoles anyway).

The only chance you have of getting a refund is if it goes faulty soon (and not within the first 12 months as people seem to think - you can not demand a refund after 11 months of use Wink)

We actually had some guy try to return an orignal Xbox with an axe cut in the top. When we took it out of the box we almost dropped to the floor with laughter Very Happy

Ahh.... the old PS3 V 360 argument

Fortunatley for me I own a 360 at home and have a PS3 at work (strictly for customer use???)

Having played both I can safely say I would have a place for the PS3 in my house......................The dustbin!!!

The PS3 is clunky, very slow to start up and load anything, game play is O.K. but not a patch on the 360. The PS3's only saving grace is the tilt sensitive controller, even then its just a gimmick rather than something useful

And after all the R&D they still stick a clunky 30 year old power switch on the arse end making it all but impossible to cabinet the Ps3 in any way.....

360 all the way

Probably not much chance of a refund, best bet would be to sell it on and take the cost as a hard lesson.
