My battery keeps running down, but only when i plug the front lights in. I've ruled out that it's the battery or the reg/rec as i've changed them.

Could it be an earth? or is it my alternator?

If it is my alternator, how much is it to get re-coiled and is there anywhere that does it in lancs?

Any help is well appreciated (free karma!! Karma )

Cheers, Daz.

You own a Voltmeter? Put it on your terminals and see if its charging at 12.5v to 13.5v on idle with everything plugged in. Rev it to about 4000rpm and it should charge at 15v roughly. If not then i'd think you have a charging problem, if not a faulty earth.
EDIT: i'll try and find a trouble shooter diagram.
