OK dont know wether this should be in the geek bit or here, but anyway......
ive got a windows mobile phone and a bluetooth headset and the missus has a nokia N95 and another blutooth headset.
does anyone know of anything that would allow either both phones or both headsets to be used as a pillion intercom (i.e. software i could install on either phone that would register both headsets and allow them to communicate or a bit of hardware that would just connect both headsets etc)?
Just wondering if im gonna need to buy an intercom or if i can do it on the cheap with stuff i already got
Ta

no dont think it has unfortunatley
its just a standard setup where you register the headset with the phone then all the sound get piped down the headset instead of the phone speaker (same with the mike too obviously).
it seems like it would be a really useful feature to have on your phone - the phone already has the capability to register headsets and send voice data back and forward would be surprised if theres not something to do it already - i just cant find anything
might have to look at writing something to do it when i get some free time.

Well the Nokia N95 has PTT (or PoC - push to talk over cellular - so it works like a walkie talkie) but as you have not said what your M$ windows phone is its hard to say.
Do a spec search on your phone, if it has PTT or PoC it can be done, dont ask me how, but it can be done. ____________________ Current - Yamaha R1 - Yamaha XJ600N - Kawasaki GPZ 500S (project? Maybe )
