For your usual bike uses, no dream garages, collections or track only toys.

What if your usual bike uses are track toys? Smile

For road fun, a 175-200cc peaky 2 stroke.

If I didn't care about my licence, a 'charged 1000cc Smile.

750.

I feel my 600 needs too many revs than I can be arsed with, litre bikes are just utterly excessive.

That's not to say I will never have a litre bike - it'd be a twin tho.

Hi

Pretty much any of them. Depends also on whether a sports bike for occasional weekend fun or a sports bike for daily use.

All the best

I'd go with a 900 personally, Late ZX9r or earlier blade.

If it had to be new and no sports tourers allowed, I'd probably go with a GSXR750, I couldn't trust myself with a thou daily esp through the winter, and the current 600s are a bit track focused for me just yet.

1300 + Turbo.

Ridden one, have seen the light.

If I had the money to invest in one I would stick one on the thousand I'm getting.

Its worth it just for the noise.

Sounds like a jet. Drooling

I like overall package of the 750, but a 500 2t would be fun.

I'm not a sportsbike fan, but a 600 would be plenty for me. Then again I'd probably not push even a 400 to its limits.

I votes for 750.

I had a go on a Gixxer thou once and it was doing power wheelies in third.

too much of a handful for me i think.

I keep thinking about buying a litre sportsbike as I'm 39 next month and due a mid-life crisis Laughing

My K1200S is just about as fast as any of them in a straight line, but much heavier so it's a struggle to keep up with well ridden sports bikes on twisty roads. Thankfully most of them aren't well ridden Wink Not bad for an old mans touring bike with panniers, ABS and heated grips Very Happy

Personally I'd rather have a big V-twin as their engines are have more character and you can use all the performance on the road. The Aprilia RSV-R Mille is a lovely bike to ride and I really like the KTM RC8.

I really enjoyed the BMW R1200S too. Light (compared to my K), quick, great Ohlins suspension and nice handling - and also available with panniers, ABS and heated grips. A great everyday sportsbike.

I think a 600/750 would be the prefect balance between handling and power, I think a 1000 is too much for the road.

750, i hear 600s need to be revved, 1000s have too much power and 750s are just right for the road.

Well surely it would just be 1000 for you in that case?

Agreed. Looks fantastic.

From what I've heard, 750, but as I've only ever ridden a 400, I'll have to vote for that. Seems plenty enough for me at the mo.
