Very fast guys although they do ride like twats through the traffic IMO as it's only a track day.

yea, they should observe the speed limit eh? here come the safety nazis trying to impose their bollocks ideas on trackdays now, GTFO!!

anyway.... awesome riding. what was the bike in front? (CBR?) it looked more stable in the corners than the camera bike.

There would be a lot less problems on trackdays if transponders were fitted by default and riders were put into realistic groups based upon their speed in the first session (as is done on pace-days), instead of fast riders taking the p1ss by joining novices and slow riders joining advanced.

But the organisers don't care much about safety, the take is their bottom line.

Just google searched the CBR rider ' Sylvain Barrier' he finished 6th in the European Superstock 600 Championship this year which probably explains why his so fast Smile

That was extremely fast. And i completely agree with Big_ham and hetzer. They where far too fast of riders to be in that group.

When you can see theres obviously going to be a accident i say that would be being smart. Not a safety nazi.

If you ask me it's also speeded up slightly too. Listen to the bikes change gear on the straights. Still clearly much faster riders tho

Fast Guys, but utter wankstains, look how they cut people up.

When i was at Cartegena, there were some stupidly quick people alot of semi-pros and pros, wannabe racers with super egos think its a permanent race and cut you up big time.
Happened to me, then you get people who are very very quick, but take the time to do safe overtakes.

Even Steve Plater cut me up!, within touching distance on a fairly quick corner.

Tossers! its a track day not fucking World Superbike Race.

Plated by Plater eh? You should have been going quicker then. Razz

I should mention that not one single rider lapped me in the advanced group at Brands.

I came off before they could

So effectively you were one of those pesky novices getting in the way of the advanced group. Tut Tut

Or maybe some folk should swallow their pride and say to themselves "I'm not that fast so i shouldn't really be in the fast group"
I'd put money on it that you would be on here going ape sh*t if a trackday organiser stopped you joining the fast group calling them "utter vermin c*nts" because you didn't attend the pace day and that it was all a money making scheme.

Tosh. First time I ever went I joined the novices, and didn't give a hoot how fast or slow I was. On the next one (a pace-day) I joined intermediate, because I remembered how I'd been held up in the novice group. I got bumped up to advanced, but would have been happy to stay where I was in intermediate. I don't like being pressured into going faster than I'm comfortable with, and I knew I'd have properly fast racers up my arse the entire time.

You cannot argue with a transponder, or it's results. You are as fast, or slow, as you are and get put into the appropriate group. I have no argument with that. If I did I would have called them "blah blah blah" and bitched to stay in intermediate.

Hardly, an it was an open pit lane all day.
you had a wide range of people out on track at the same time, no one was particularly slow, the kinda trackday it was didnt attract novices, but there a wide range of abilities out there, some of these people race professionaly.

Its just cuntish to cut people up on a trackday you're not gaining a place really.

To be serious for a moment, doesn't it occur to you that *most* racers are full-of-themselves tossers who probably consider they have a god-given right to the racing line and people like us shouldn't be allowed on it?

Same rule applies to them though; if they piss you off badly enough (eg, cut you up so bad you get a proper scare) you can smack them one in the pits.

Totally agree, when i got cut up by Steve Plater, i didnt know it was him at the time and was going to complain as i could easily collided with him and guess whos fault it would have been. "mine"

Also there was a c*nt Scottish pro race team out there, he got warned so many times then got banned on the last day, arrogant twat saw him having it out in the pit area with the Focused events bloke.

Most of the Pro racers were cool about it, i chatted to a few, one even let me have a load of oil, but there was a few egotisical arseholes there.

Humility and modesty is a valueless attribute in today's vile society.
