YAY
as some of you may know i had an accident on my honda xr 125 and it was a write off some other guy pulled out on me , but any way.... i went with this compensation company and they sent an engineer to make sure it was a write off and they offered £1575 for my honda xr 125 04 plate with 7500 miles on it <--- i was really shocked at how much they are giving me , and also the compensation company are looking to give me £2000 - £3000 so in total thats about £3500 -£4500
so when i get that ill be taking my a2 test as im under 21 , ive been looking into the KTM DUKES and FMX 650'S any other recommendations of bikes similiar to these babys ?
thanks guys ! |

Two good bikes mentioned there, the DRZ400SM and the CCM 644.
I wouldn't mind a DRZ actually |

Actually, i can tell you that a bloke on an africa twin had me on the coastal roads the day i crashed my bike! . So what they only put out 50-65bhp, a good one with sorted suspension can tie a sportsbike in ropes!
Adam at HG in edinburgh swears by his XT660 - he uses it more than his Gixxer 750!
He also told me that whatever you do, just replace the shock with an aftermarket item like Ohlins or Hyperpro (they're really pushing me towards getting hyperpro).
It's all good at the end of the day.
I think adventure bikes are the way forwards. Talking about XT660's , have you seen the new ones?? Got a bit of a mech warrior look to it and i can say that if i had a hummer, i'd have that as a bike to complement it. love the desert colours.
Tenere is also pretty good alternative to africa twin. ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1
