If you hold a barbie and it rains heavily on the day? ,what alternative suggestions do you have? .

pile into a Toby Carvery? ,

Have a dinner party inside instead?

Any other suggestions as the weather in January seems to be rather eratic.

A general piss up is NOT an option due to very very limited stop over space and the need for many to ride/drive home.

Any thoughts?

Ta muchly.

Put one of my many gazebos and/or big tents up, or even on occasion all of them. Cool

In years gone by when I have been temporarily gazebo-less I have "made" suitable temporary shelter out of tarpaulins, umbrellas, plastic sheeting, rope and bungees.

You need to check that the wind is in the right direction to choose the position of the barbie/fire so your temp structure doesn't fill up with smoke - if it's really bad cook the food on a George Foreman or in the oven instead!

Never yet had rain stop play on one of our outdoor parties. Thumbs Up

Oh, I have also been known to arrive at other people's BBQs armed with a "just-in-case" gazebo too............ Wink
