Thats what i use Thumbs Up

No problems so far, dry and warm when it needs to be, and with the removable liner, i`m sure it`ll be fine if we ever get any warmer. Mr. Green

Only downside with mine is: I bought the red and white one, and the white gets dirty quickly, other than that top notch jacket.

Try some HG stuff aswell.

The good thing about alpinestars jacket is that it's bling. When it comes to crashing, i managed to tear a hole in the front of my T-dyno after coming off at about 10-15mph. Admittedly my hein gericke gore tex pants came off nicely.

Mind you I got my T-dyno for 30 quid ( i was in indonesia so bartered relentlessly with the shop owner). They look cool as jackets to go to the pub with and i think non-bikers will instantly tell that it's a biking jacket. Also has the same effect with dainese.

That jacket in particular is very comfy to wear day to day, with or without the armour.

Mind you, on mine, the synthetic suede peeled off on the arms so if that happened to a 150 quid example, i'd be pissed off. but for the measly price i paid for mine, i couldn't care less.

It's not particularly waterproof nor is it windproof. Being that it was the asian spec - no thermal liner.

Good bling.

Lets just say that for a textile jacket, they are very crash worthy. I came off completely uninjured after my crash. A little bit of sewing on the front pocket and it was good to go again. Just looks dark where i applied the glue - much like oil or a cum stain!

Either way, the armour is hard, which is good if you slide down the road. HG uses the softer sas-tec armour - comfortable but not as "slideable".

I'm sure J&S have them on the rack for 119 at the moment... could be wrong, but worth a look...
