OW It Hurts

The visor on my lid was popping off so i took the fixing off and adjusted the spring. Long story short, While removing the spring it popped up and twatted me in the right eye. I looked in the mirror and on the iris it looked like a bit of fluff. But no, its a scratch. feels like a bit of grit in my eye and when a light shines and the pupil closes up the pain is immense. Got a mega headache and dont want to ride cos i cant concentrate.

How long will it take to heal do u reckon?

Cheers

I had a bit of straw scratch me in the eye a few years back. It hurt like buggery and the numpties at the minor injuries unit thought there was still something in there. I had some eye drops and a patch for it and they said to keep the patch on and use the drops for a couple of weeks, but I'd got rid of it within 4-5 days. It would have been sooner but I was into pirates at the time (I would have been about 10 or 11) so I thought it was mega cool having an actual eyepatch.
