Good. Not brilliant, but not shit either. They fit my head very well which is the most important part. My Force RR was pretty loud compared to the Shoei I just got. I paid £110 for mine two years ago and it was good value The vents don't work though |

Given the budget that the VR2's are selling at, i'd rather get a HJC FG14 or HQ-1 for that price. IF you CAN extend your budget, Shoei XR1000, arai condor, agv ti-tech are in a different league.
I owned a HJC AC10 for 3 (the lid is in my loft now doing sweet F/A) and found it nice to begin with, not the lightest, not the flashest paint job, but did me well for that time period.
After which, i decided to get a KBC AR-1 race lid - worst choice i ever made. I ended up wearing the then 3 year old HJC for more. KBC was heavier, felt like it wasn't well made and for sub 200 quid helmets, the quality of paintjob didn't even enter the equation. I'd rather get single colour in that case. For paint job and paint finish, nothing compares really to an arai, OR a suomy. ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1

In July Last year I wrote:
"I've always worn Shark helmets, they've always been a perfect fit for my oddly shaped head (which incidentally puts me out of the equation for arai or shoei)
I've just bought myself a new one, Funnily enough it is also a KBC. I wanted the pink shark butterfly lid, but tried it on at the welsh motorbike show and to be honest it was foul! There was hardly any padding in it, I've always worn a medium size but even the XS was too big and rattled about on my head like a child in a laundry basket.

Wind noise reduction in the KBC made an amazing difference, I could even hear my mobile ringing in my pocket, No excuse to hide from the world any more I guess....
The extra padding is all in the perfect places, all completely removable and doesn't make me look like a chunky chipmunk by forcing my cheeks together and making my eyes scrunch up (I get that problem with new lids.) There's no horrible pressure on the forehead or temples, and there is even a nice gap by the ears for an auto-com system, headphones or hands-free kit.
It's lighter than my shark, yet feels just like one, or at least how they USED to feel. I said to the 'Pup how it felt like 'my' helmet the moment I put it on my head."
6 months later, I still love it. I've even found out how to work the air vents and detachable lining ____________________ Funny, I used to hate being spanked as a child!

i brought a new kbc at the brighton burnup thing
anyway i wanted something abit flashy, the kbc looked a dead cert. it wasnt comfortable but looked the business. paid extra for a tinted visor too
i only use it about once a week as at work it would get ruined in the locker room. the thing has started falling apart already. the little red plastic bit off the front went missing and now it looks so silly i dont wear it. must have been worn about 10 times maximum ____________________ Gilera Nexus 500
