Precis UK government planning on implanting tracking chips RFID and GPS into offenders.

Realise this that it will have mission creep ie eventually it will be forced on the rest of the population and the old chestnut nowt to hide nowt to fear will be used to convince millions that this is a good thing.

Such that you will be tracked like a dog , even China and North Korea don't treat their civilians as such...

Remember DNA and finger prints? , used to be of convicted criminals ONLY , then it was those who were arrested and charged with a criminal offence, then it was everybody who saw the inside of a police station in an involuntary manner.

it says expressed interest , which means that MPs are just waiting for a big enough bribe to divert government funds for such a system at which unlimited amounts of tax payer monies will be channeled into this AKA blunkett who has a stack of shares in the company who is going to provide the ID card tech.

Good old britain, ain't it a classy society? I'd be interested to know exactly why we have more people in prison than any other west european country. Could it have something to do with our institutionalised poverty? Latest official govt guideline is that "both partners in a relationship must be working in order to avoid poverty". Who's nurturing the kids then, strangers at the day-care centre? And labour talk about "family values".

Pretty certain you could hack the fuckers out reasonably easily.

Tend to be barely under the epidermis, so although you'd leave an obvious mark it would be far easier to sneak em out to do naughty things then the tags.

That is unless they contain some sort of system to monitor their environment and ensure they are still in living meat... but that wouldn't be hard to fake if it didnt monitor constantly. Nice pet rat, hold still while daddy uses his scalpel
