Well I've had the biggest giggle of my life so far. At the weekend, myself and a crowd of my mates went on a quad bike safari at Ashcome Adventure Centre. A few of us are bikers and unsurprisingly we did remarkably well on the little beasties.

All apart from one, who, although being a biker and mountainbiker, couldn't get to grips with *not* leaning for the corners. And he promptly crashed on the familiarity lap of the 'noddy track' D'oh!! He then went through the woods at a speed Miss Daisy would be pleased with. Obviously far far behind the rest of us...

So after the event, he said he would rather like to show me a crosser and how much MORE fun they can be. So I'm thinking there might be a place in the area that does it all, without me having to purchase a bike and so on beforehand....

Any ideas or recommendations?

The KTM days are worth a look and some may be quite local to you, though best bet is to try and blag a go on someone else's bike if you can.
I believe CAS Honda, Yamaha and BMW also run 'school' days with everything provided; I'm sure google has the answers Smile.

Funny you mention Google G, cos whenever I search for said terms all I get is nonsense about mountain bikes. Which I already consider myself both competent and tooled for. Confused
