I'm going to scrap my Mondeo estate ('94 L-reg), unless anyone wants it.

It has no MOT, not because it's ever had a problem passing them but because I got the due-date confused (thought it was due this february, but I now think it was due last august).

The front-right wheel-bearing is noisy (last MOT I was told it wasn't an issue).

The brake-line has a tiny leak just under the resevoir. It's not an issue so long as the level doesn't go beneath it, and I've got by by simply topping up the resevoir once every three months or so for the last three years (soon as the light comes on). It's a widgit in a gizmo in the line just under the resevoir, and actually got a bit better after the guy who MOTs the car took it apart to see if he could fix it. He said to get another gizmo from a breakers.

The speedo doesn't work, and hasn't for three years. It's not the cable, it's a small cog in the gearbox that caused it. £400 to fix it, which is why I didn't bother. It's not tested for the MOT.

Drivers door-mirror is cock-eyed, after my kids played with the adjuster-lever and snapped a cable.

Four years ago the entire radiator system was replaced for a brand -new one. Three years ago the cambelt assembly was done. Has done about 20k since then (I estimate the mileage on it is approx 90k).

Off-side front wishbone was replaced year and a half ago (the roundabout one Laughing ).

It's got about 6 months tax left on it, which I'll leave if somebody wants the car.

Full service was done about three years ago, loads of new bits were fitted then. Oil & filter changed every MOT.

It's been a cracking little car, has not once failed to start or run perfectly. I reckon there's loads of mileage left in it, and it would be a shame to scrap it. It'd be an ideal car for somebody who's skint and doesn't mind a bit of a beater. No corrosion, but plenty of dings.

Pick-up from Eastbourne, it's ready to drive away. But be quick or it'll be gone.
