Should I paint my side panels???

Who thinks I should paint my seat side panels the same colour as the bike.?
I realise that it,s a wear area because of legs,but I,ve seen other bikes with them painted and they look alright.
If I do they,ll need a good cover of laquer.
C,mon ,let me know your veiws.
Keep the anodised subject out for a change please!!

I think they would look nice painted but it all depends on the cost and if you can get an exact match in colour.

i do feel sorry for the bike having to be seen in public wearing anodised decorations.

Please leave it be. Its possible to customise too much sometimes.

Although i do like the stubby can.

mate the bike looks fine as is, i dont like anadized but its what i could get at the time, titanium or stainless will be better in time.
Also leave the pannels, you'll end up rubbing the paint off with your legs.

Sorry but That's one hell of a way to de-value your bike. Looks like you crashed through Halfrauds without stopping.
Adonised fasteners went out in the 80's, if you like it then fair enough but think of the poor bike.

There is such a thing as too much of a good thing in your case to much blue, leave the side panels black and bin then nasty blue Adonised fasteners.

That /used/ to be a nice bike.

Anodising is reserved for the same people who put coloured headlamp protectors on their fireblades in the mid nineties. Along with Dayglo leathers.

Its out of date, it looks wrong and the fasteners are weaker and more likely to fail than the OE steel items.

Paint the side panels, but I think thats the least of your worries!!
