I was off in a daydream having a think the other day, as you do. There's been a few threads in the past along the lines of "what super-power would you have?" and people chose various abilities - being invisible, able to fly, able to stop time, can communicate with woodlice etc.

My initial thoughts whenever I ponder this is that I'd instantly go off and commit a few crimes. The thought of doing "good" with my ability/abilities never really crosses my mind - I'm more interested in what fun I could have.

So, regardless of what superpower du jour you'd like, are you essentially good or evil - hero or villan?

Good guys always win.

Villains, rob the bank, get the girl and then get collared by the good guy.

I'd be somewhat evil to randomers for a bit of fun but I think most of the time I'd go round terrorising chavs Thumbs Up

Probably evil ,

As if you notice the British public and media love to build people up to an high level of stardom , and equaly loves to tear them down again.

May as well skip the foreplay and immediately go to the villan stage.

I'd really like to be evil Cool

I think its the grandiosity of the evil: the lavish arm gestures, the shouty supremacy, the stomping around in big boots, and the decadent ominous swirling of mysterious black robes.

I am always attracted to the Malecifent types: Morticia, the Siamese in Lady and the Tramp, the evil Genius in Time Bandits, the Cheshire Cat; the warped types.

Although for some odd reason, Cruella de Ville never impressed me. A lame-o posey villain. Pah!

But I can't carry off the practicalities.
I even laugh too much when domming.

So I guess I'll probably just remain as the doormat at the entrance to Hell Rolling Eyes

I'd rather be a rugged antihero, afraid of no man and beholden to no women!

That way I can dispatch evil doers with a grimace and a darkly comic one liner, like the darkest of Batman/The Punisher/Ghost Rider etc. That way I get to be Evil and a hero at the same time!! Very Happy

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Yeah...

Would like to say hero but that would be boring. I'd probably start out with the best of intentions but it would quickly turn sour, a wee bit like that pop star everybody loves but before you know it, you've slept with someone three times your age, dabbled in some illegal substances and can only get press attention from the news of the world.

I wouldn't be evil as such, just flawed. Life after all is a balance; nobody likes a goody-two-shoes.

Thumbs Up

Heroes aren't boring.
Heroes are Winnahs.

Heroes can live smugly in the knowledge that not only do they have wonderful super-powers which help them be wonderful, but they have acted decently, saved the world, got the girl, and lived happily ever after in a grateful and loving world, the entirety of which will love them for ever more.

Ahhhhh, yeah, fuck that.

Villains FTW
Twisted Evil Thumbs Up

Exactly. In the current climate, you'd have the press baying for your blood if you were a goody, no one would believe you were an old fashioned hero anyway.

The Sun would have fake Sheiks asking you for drugs in back rooms at the Dorchester. Honey traps would be set up to lure you into making a mistake.

If you gave interviews Paxman would accuse you of spin when you talked about what you were trying to acheive: Fighting crime, fighting the causes of crime...

You'd have Graham Norton trying to out you... It would be far too much hard work. One good turn followed by one failure of judgement.

On the upside, if anyone moaned about your flaws, you can just smite them with your super powers.

Thumbs Up
