My sister just came runing down the stairs shouting "Damon your alarm is going off and there is someone beside it". I checked outside and there was a small silver car parked up with a guy just moving away from the bike quite rapidly. Seemed quite dodgy.

So a thumbs up for a home wired £30 alarm and a sis that knows what my alarm sounds like.

It's pissing it down atm but ive kept my door open slightly to make sure no-one decides to come back. Baseball bats at the ready.

Just thought i would share Thumbs Up

have you checked the bike for damage? The £30 alarm i had would only go off if hit or shaken, not if someone was tryna push it away.

Mine seems to be really sensitive. Like yesterday i touched the L plate on the back and it went off. I also tapped the exhaust/ expansion chamber with the toe of my shoe (Like when you show someone something with ur show) and all hell broke loose.

I will go and check it in a minute. My sister says she knows who it was anyway 100%. She knows the car and could see who the people were.

Thumbs Up

Thanks for the replies.

What £30 alarm did you buy by the way? Was it a hawk alarm by any chance?

I would go with XlonewolfX, get down there and check the bike....

More likely he's hit it in his car and just stood it up again. Twisted Evil

Just went out and checked. Nothing, no damage. Bike seems in the same place and the lock is fine. Phew.

Im going to put it away shortly. Just need drop of some protein to one of my customers first.

Cheers all

EDIT: I bought an alarm off ebay called hawk alarms. I will try and dig up the link in a minute. Seems to be working well. I wired in my own flashing LED to the unit as the one they supplied broke. Ive had a few trouble with resistors falling off etc, but apart from that its working very well.
