i just thought about this, lmao. I am not high, taking drugs, drunk or stoned. Nothing..but the lottery in the UK

okay, some person wins or a few do, win millions of pounds. woop for them.

would it not be a lot cooler to take out maybe 5 numbers of the lottery so the chances of winning are greater, thus more people winning, but only like 20-50k or something. Who needs millions anyway? Surely you can help more people using this method..more for charity or something, i don't know. Just seems lame to give a few people millions when you could potentially help lots more people. I wouldn't mind winning 1 grand towards a 125cc but ya know. Any thoughts about this? Neutral

of coarse people would play if the odds of winning are increased. I would pay to win 20,000 pounds if the odds were likely..

i mean the millions that does get won, let's say 3 people win 5mil each. so that's a 15mil jackpot.

now let's pretend with this new implement lottery system thingy that 1,200 people win, they would win 12,500 pounds each. I know that is nothing compared to millions but lots of people need a few thousand to pay debts and get themselves out of financial troubles, let alone worrying about choosing between a classic mustang or a mistibishiu lancer evo 8! Do you think there's any appreciable difference in the chance of winning millions at 14,000,000 to 1 vs winning 12k at 14,000,000 to 1200?

I haven't won even a poxy tenner in well over a year and a half. Laughing

They kind of are, they give loads of money to "good causes".

I'm refusing to play the lottery now. I won about 12 quid in a year and a half.

OK, do all you chaps who play, do you stick with the same numbers? I does increase your chances of winning overall.

Maybe stick it in premium bonds? , min £100 or used to be stake you protect your capital except from inflation.

Premium bonds have a pattern however that you MUST exploit, else you will win virtually nothing.

You put in say £10,000 , leave it for a month then take out £5000, the government computer is rigged to give winnings to those who take money out to re-enfranchise those who become disenchanted.

repeat over and over, and you beat the average 3% return.

If you leave in £10K and do nothing with it , the government exploits your laziness and treats it as if it is THEIR money and gives you minimal winnings.

Lotteries are effectively a tax on hopes,
