I had a youth in a Vauxhall Carlton do the "cap yo" thing at me whilst waiting for my wife to collect me from the bike shop once, very odd.

Perhaps they were mistaking us for other people?

lolz...its a usual occurence where i live.

i got egged once at a bus stopped - hilarious now but i was fuming then!

I usually get all the ultimate annoying sleazys driving past honkin horns. i think they do it to any tom, dick and harry.
some1 was following me one night honking non-stop so i turned round and kicked his door.....i missed Embarassed but luckily i did cos it was the BF driving past coincidently.

I thought that only happened to girls. Maybe they where bitchy men that drove past you. Most likely chavs.

Wouldn't it be funny if they where to break down after throwing abuse at some big bikers Laughing

I used to walk home from work with a huge black man, was a absolute tank. One day we were walking home and about to cros the road so stepped out into the middle, and stopped as we saw a escort speeding down the road with 1 chav in it, and as he came close to us he swerved at us, almost hitting my mate, then he had to stop at some traffic lights, where my mate threw a coke can as hard as he could as the back window, I can tell you he never tried that again.

I was doing a paper round a decade or so ago, in the sticks. A van pulled up and the grinning driver started to ask directions before attempting to empty a bag of crisps on me making this "wahaheeey" noise thats stuck with me till this day, he completely missed then floored it away giggling.

So it's not a new thing.

It's bloomin' annoying and really winds me up.

I had a similar incident though. I was out for my evening run and could hear that a car had slowed down behind me which made me uneasy. I wasn't far from home so I just started to run a little faster (cue wheezing and heavy breathing) only to be greeted with honking.

I turn round to have an angry shout (in an out of breath pathetic girly kind of way) to be greeted by my lovely next door neighbour shouting "Come on, you can run faster than that!"... I've not forgiven her yet!

lol..how embarrasing, esp half hyperventilating, hot and sweaty!
i know the feeling, hence one of the reasons for joining a gym.
Noone bothers you!

i must admit, back in my "youthful" days.....me and mates used to find it amusing to sauce random chavs at the bus stop (karma...since i recently got egged).
We used to collect sauces from McDonalds, half open them and then lob it at chavs - extra points for getting the ones in white hoodies/zip ups! I wouldn't want to be the one getting hit by the Curry sauce...its a bitch to get out!!

I hope you kept the ski boot.

I get it all the time when I'm on my pushbike, but at no other times. Maybe people just have issues with cyclists in general. Thinking

YUN! Maccies sauce is awesome for throwing! gawd i hate chavs!

We still honk people and shout terry or some other random name, watch them wave back then get a bewildered look on their face to why they waved after being called terry. Its good for shits and giggles.

Some guy my mate knows ended up in prison after being honked. i wasnt there but suposedly BM full of asians went passed honked and gave him the finger. So he shouted fucking P*kis. They stopped and got out, driver pics up a tyre iron and as he swings for said guy he gets nutted and drops to the floor. Guy pics up tyre iron and goes to work on all 4 of them. another one gets out and gets hit with the tyre iron and someone gets his head slammed in the door. Anyway, it ends up with all 4 asians in hospital, 1 in intensive care. And guy getting banged up for 5 or so years.

Bit of over reaction there if you ask me

Got a fag packet chucked at me once when I had long hair. But that's to be expected in Grimsby.

Saw a maroon (possibly red) van today - with a couple of chavs shouting at people at they went past.
Was your van maroon ?

OOOO Yes.... I Love the chavs that drive round in there lowered out cars with alloys that don't fit, body kits taped to there car.. and a spoiler same height as the Eifal tower Razz

Drive past giving me the V's and shouting and abusing... usually just ignore unless I'm in a really happy mood.. In which case i get my rear out Razz Wave back and that

Ahh. You've got to shout abuse at them at the right time. Hear them coming (the dustbin exhaust is a dead giveaway), be ready.

I usually shout "SHED!" (referring to their car) as they go past.

A fairly common for me throughout my adult life, maybe 4 times a year, regardless of appearance, dress, haircut , as I assume many people just get subjected to random insults. Question

I was once walking along with a couple of asian friends of mine. This guy who was a passenger in a white van, shouted out some racist remarks to them for no reason at all as the van sped passed us. He must of felt like such a hard man afterwards. Wanker.
