hi
yeah very good, but the turning circle of a moto is much biger so not really a fair test, plus its on a minmotot track for mini motos

It was more the power off the straight that got me he definatly had him up there he got more drive oout of the corner but it doesnt detract from how it looked, i have seen a photos on an american site on a full size track (outdoors massivly wide) and the minimoto was infront in every pic you can corner extremely quick on a minimoto i would absolutly waste my RD in the corners with my minimoto decent ones use race compound tyres that you just canna buy for an RD or many other full size bikes Very Happy

To be fair on that track I doubt the supermoto's could get enough grip either on the front or for controlable slides on the rear, they probably also didn't want to risk putting a decent amount of power down.

Though I obviously would aggree that minimoto's can turn damn fast and probably would beat pretty much all other bikes on a small course.

i would of thought that the guy on the motad would be holding back considerably, because crashing a 10 kilo mini moto in to the tyres wont do much damage to you, or the bike....but lowsiding a 100+ kilo motad could be......slightly painfull, and expensive Razz

The two bikes are not designed to do the same things. Therefore trying to race them doesnt really work. Take the mini-moto out onto a large fast sweeping, off road track, and its fucked!

Supermoto's aren't exactly meant to be race on long sweeping tracks either Smile.... but then they are made for racing on the dirt as well as the road.

Well, if you did it on a mini-moto track, the mini moto would win. if you did it on a GP track, the the GP bike would win.

Its like trying to race a rally car against an F1 car Confused Rolling Eyes

Totally, theyre 2 totally different things you still would have thought though that the motard with the best part of 30hp would be able to stay with him on the straights but put an acomplished rider on both and maybe it would be a differnt story, still very funny though

Umm, yeah, but that looks like a 7-year old kid riding a 70cc 'motard Confused...and I'm sure that mini-moto ain't a bog-standard 3.4/4.2bhp machine Smile
