Just got my insurance for £199.82 fully comprehensive
Seems A-Quote can use your car no claims for your bike
I don't want an alarm/ immob but I want something to act as a deterant and this seems to be the answer:
https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=11889
At £42 including delivery, it looks to be the cheapest price around.
I've been told this will fit under my bikes seat.
So would members recommend this please. If the consensus is yes, I'll be ordering one ASAP.

Seems like a good choice, if all you want to do is stop a petty theif/alert you to anyone fiddling. Also convenient to keep with you as apposed to a bigass chain.
I've got a cheapo masterlock disclock, I mainly got because it was a fiver and is really bright red.

Does the alarm go off only when it itself is tampered with, or if the bike moves? ____________________ CBR125|||GSXR400|||CBR400|||CBR400|||CB250RS|||GSXR750|||CB250RS

I have one.
Nice piece of kit. They do fit under the seat and are very loud.
The alarm is very sensitive. I set mine off all the time when unlocking it. Be careful about wind setting it off as well.
Mine only did it once when it was exposed from the cover.
Vibration and movement sets the alarm off. It beeps at first, slight delay then all hell breaks loose for about 30 seconds. Instantly resets also.
Also, make sure you don't arm it when it's stored under the seat. Can be slightly embarrassing |
