Thieving b****ds stole my 'phone

I had my mobile 'phone removed from the pocket of my rucksack whilst walking in the glorious Stafford.

As a result I have lost everyone's telephone numbers and will be having a new number shortly. Any of you guys who keep in touch could you pm my your mobile numbers and I'll let you know my new one asap.

Someone was telling me how they'd heard that someone broke into a house by removing the window frames from the wall and then looted the entire lower floor of the house while the people were in bed. To make the situation worse they looked out the window to see these guys driving away their brand new car!!!

My mate went to uni in Liverpool, decided to take his car, he started his course in September and has had his car broke into twice so far, they stole his CD player and some cd's the first time then just smashed the steering column and tried to start it the 2nd, but didn't manage it.

It's ok Scot - I've tried to have a conversation with my helmet on before. Though it usually consisits of me answering the phone and shouting as loudly as possible
"I can't hear you... hang on... I've got to get my lid off... just hang on.... won't be a tick...."

Rest phone on tank, prise off gloves, undo helmet, yank off helmet, in process, knock phone off tank into gutter....

Shout "Hang on.... just a mo..."

With car drivers looking at me in bemusement as I hang off my still running bike trying to pick my phone out of the gutter (those who know how short I am will realise the total impossibility of this). By the time I bother to stop the bike, put the stand down and get off, retrieve my phone and answer it in a sensible manner whoever was calling has given up thinking I'm totally insane. Ah well..... all those lost opportunities eh?
