derbi gpr 50 gearbox problems

Hello,

I have a '52 plate derbi gpr 50r bike that seems to have a problem with the gearbox? selector? clutch?.

When riding or stationary the gear lever does not engage the gear in one click but needs many clicks to click into 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th.

I have checked the amount of play before the clutch engages and it seems fine and i have also checked that the clip holding the selector shaft was not lying in the casing. nothing seems wrong. I think it could be the selector shaft.

any ideas?
