Okkk.
I fitted some flush front indicators to my Yamaha TZR125 yesterday but have a small problem.
I just unclipped the wires from the old ones, and put the new ones in.
The left indicator works fine,
However the right one..
Comes on when I select the left indicator and flashes like that one lol.
Doesn't come on with the right indicator selected (rear one works fine).
And when neither is selected, it is static lit up, (brightening up every few seconds when the engine is running).

Anyone know what the cause to this is?

Good news however. bike started first time today! Am very pleased as ive been having trouble with this.

Thanks, gaz

If it's an Italian job (it's got USDs and deltabox frame) then it's highly likely you've got a bad earth somewhere. Either way, the wiring is a bit fooked.

Are you sure the indies were working properly before you changed them?

You haven't done anything silly like try to fit LED ones?

If the rears are working okay, you could try splicing the cables and running a pair of wires to the front ones for a quick fix. Don't bother pulling the existing loom apart, just fit the new wires and wrap more black lex tape around them to make them waterproof.

Thumbs Up

It's the '89 model, which iirc isn't the italian one.
Yeh they worked fine, however the reason I changed them is because the bike fell over and smashed the front ones.
And no, it's not the LED ones Razz

I think I might try your idea, I am not going to fuss about with the whole loom as I just want this bike on the road!

Thanks,
Gaz
