you can get a reg.rec from just about any bike and just change the plugs over and it will work, they are all basically the same (suzuki ones are usually single phase) you want a 3 phase one from any honda kawasaki yamaha ect ect,
to test... have a fully charged battery,
disconnect 1 orf the 2 plugs on the reg/rec the one that doesnt have the 3 yellow wires (they go to the alternator)
start the bike (no damage will be done, you are now running what is called constant loss, and all the bikes electrics are being powered from the battery) get out your multi meter and check what the voltage is on the disconnected plugs teminals it should be around 14v while running, if its not then its shagged ____________________ the humans are dead

my NTV wears one of those,
a shop called Rivington Barn motorcycles (on ebay too) has a few of them couple weeks ago I had me hand in a box of 5 of them,
but as said ANY Honda Reg rec will do, just don't go for CB500/CBR600F reg recs since they are flat and don't get rid of heat (I'm putting a fan on my reg rec this saturday). ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
