No there not the same...

But they do fit... depending on the age of them, youll also need the caliper as the 125 has a bigger bolt hole spacing.

But to be honest the 125 USDs were rubbish, hence most people try to get the later forks as they work better due to being conventionally oil dampened and dont sieze up every 8months. Wink

Cheers for that mate. So the later model right-way-up forks fit OK?

The 50's always came with the USD's - They had a silver ring on the uppers. Twin opposing piston caliper.

The 125/180 2t's with USD's had a gold ring around the uppers and are around 30mm longer. As said, They use a different caliper and it may be a little tighter on the brake hose. Twin piston floating caliper.

The 125/180 4t's VX(R) had RWU forks which use the same caliper as the 125/180 2t's but they are so much better than the USD's. I beleive they're longer than the 125/180 ones aswell.

Not sure about the facelift runners so i cant comment if the forks are interchangeable.

Stems on the above are the same so fit straight in. Spindle from the 50 has to be used with the 50 forks, Others are the same. 50 Speedo drive and wheel are different to the 125's.

HTH Thumbs Up
