Machined Aluminium Clipons

I have a bent clipon and MOT is due very soon so been looking for a replacement. Seems the secondhand ones on ebay are slightly overpriced, and one ive already bought is off a racebike, the clamp is an inch lower and theres no holes drilled for switch gear and bar end. However i've found these that replace both sides.

What are the advantages or disadvantages over the stock items, they say they are half the weight and twice the strength which sounds alright, but does this mean i get more feel through the bars with them being lighter? more vibration that'll help or annoy me?
