Are CV joints standardised?

I'm trying to get a CV joint to take a 22 spine driveshaft and fit into a 28 spline hub.

Are they standardised in spline size? basically will any 22 spline joint take my 22 spine driveshaft, or would a mazda 22 spline jobby be different to an alfa one?

Genrally, no, CV joints are specific to the car. Although you can sometimes chop and change between models, between makes is very unlikely.

Nope, not standard. If you are really lucky they the join from the shaft to the outer joint will be the same (there is a clip hidden in the grease in the boot to seperate the outer CV joint from the drive shaft).
