Found the Bike article comparing the ZZR250 with the Aprilia AF1 Sintesi.

ZZR
Top speed 108mph
Fuel consumption overall 43mpg
Worst figure 40.2mpg

AF1
Top speed 104mph
Fuel consumption overall 38mpg
Worst figure 35mpg

Top speeds are claimed! I would expect that in normal use you will get far better mpg than that.

The ZZR claimed to put out 35hp @ 12500rpm and 15.9ft-lb @ 9000rpm (compared to 32hp @ 11000rpm and 16.2ft-lb @ 9250rpm for the AF1)

Hope this gives you a bit more idea of performance in comparison with a more known type of bike (the AF1 Sintesi should be fairly close to a modern NSR in performance)

Cheers mate, as long as my zzr250 can cruise at 100 im very happy, quite why the speedometer goes up to 130mph i will never know....

perhaps its for persuading nsr owners like me to part with their cash for a not much faster bike Rolling Eyes
