K4/5 GSXR 750 vs B1 ZX6R 636

Who wins?

I've bought the 750 just before xmas, and a mate has bought a 636 a month before. Now we havent been out a good run since...

Seems a bit of debate with the other guys though that his bike will be right up my chuff

I know this particular 636 is a wee monster than punches above its weight, but ...surely, I should still have the legs on it?

Top end? handling? acceleration?

the 750 should have it if your any good. only even bit would be the handling as the b1h is a bit of a demon.

On paper the 636 is quicker at lower speeds according to some websites. Not top end tho.

Their is no comparison, the GSXR 750 is a far superior bike Cool

In my riding group there is a ZX9 engined ZXR750, the B1H 636, three K3 GSXR600s, a CBR600f, two SV650's, two Thundercats and a ZZR600 oh and a Deauville Laughing

(the real threat)

I expect a podium finish at least Laughing

If it was riders of equal talent i'd reckon the gixer would edge it - that might just be because i'm a K5 750 owner and general gixer fanboi!
Given that your mate has approx 17 years more experience than you, i'd reckon it will be the 636 disappearing off into the distance. For example, a mate of mine is a Gixer thou (various incarnations) owner, has far more talent than me and (seemingly) testicles the size of watermelons - when i rode his thou and he rode my SRAD 600 he ran rings around me, likewise when i rode another of his thous and he rode my 750 he fucked off into the distance, on the back wheel, standing up on the pegs.
Bastard!

The morale of the story is that skill and experience beats cubic capacity almost every time.
