New Bike..

Bored of the GPZ, I bought an SV650S from "stooster" on these forums. Saw it on Thursday and it was mine by yesterday! Has just over 7000miles after being ridden home from Wigan and came with restriction washers and a few other cosmetic mods like mini indicators, fairing lowers etc. Also had the reg/rec upgraded to a CBR600 item and tyres are only a bit over 1000miles old. Stu was very helpful and he said he was sad to see it go!

I think it would look better if the belly-pan matched the colour of the rest of the bike though...

Fantastic bikes.

Good to see you have had the reg/rec sorted already, the sv650's weakest point that. Release the beast with an aftermarket exhaust and you'll never look back.

Just fitted my R&G's and black hugger! The throttle cable was sticking a bit so that has been WD40'd a bit and it's fine now.

Definitely does need a can to sound good, but when I'm on it, it sounds great to me anyway! Just I expect it sounds crap to everyone else Laughing

. Seen some cans for about £180-200 with link pipe and removable baffles, so it's not too bad of a price. Will wait a little while though as I've spent enough this month!

. Bet it feels a bit revvy compared to the SV though eh? Quite a bit quicker though!
