How many of you regulary use other forums, as in about the same or more than BCF ?

I've looked at quite a few over the past months, signed up to couple and attempted to use them, the people are just too different.

The latest should be ideal, most of the riders are fairly local to me, regular ride outs, nights out, etc etc. But I can't help thinking its male members are having their knackers tied by a bunch of scary lady riders (I use the term lady very loosely) - and they obviously don't like new female members. Probably doesn't help that in my 1st post I commented on their avatars, mostly pics of said women - most of which are on the larger side in a state of undress.

So as much as the younger members on here can sometimes help my tooth surfaces to stay nice and smooth, I'm just going to have to lump it.

I've only ever been on this forum and a local bike forum.

I just can't handle having too many different forums, hence why I post a lot on here, cause it is generally the only forum I visit.

There are a lot of egos on this forum, but generally everybody is alright. I'm not particularly fond of the Current Affairs forum, there are far too many people who claim to know what they are on about on a subject, when all they have read is the daily mail website, but if they had read the subject carefully on a broader scale, their arguements wouldn't look so fluid.

I like the fact here that I can get an answer to pretty much anything, computers, cars etc. Thumbs Up Advice is generally sound, yeah the youngun's are annoying, but I was on this forum when I was 16 and I managed to pull through with little amount of enemies, in fact more people probably get annoyed with me now than they did when I was younger. Smile

LOL - yeah, you pretty much said exactly what I meant - I'm just hopeless with stringing words together Razz

What I was trying to say was despite certain folks, I am used to and like the majority, I get BCF.

This and advrider.
I see advrider as more of a bike forum really though. This is where I come when I wish to make fun of those less fortunate than I.

Loads, I am a total forum tart and I post all over the place! Embarassed

I'm on here, VD, TRC, NWbikers, netbiker, 100%biker, ukcruiserbike, bikersweb, bikerlifestyle regularly, pop into SOC, Bikers1, britchopper and a couple of "make" ones mainly to browse and probably a few others that I've forgotten too.

That's just the bike ones, I'm also on a few music forums and (don't laugh) a couple of accounting forums and contractor forums.

I need a life............. Crying or Very sad Wink

I occasionally use Fazer owners club-Unofficial, when I need specific help with my baby, I am on www.ridesandrallies.com which is a friend's site. It is fairly new though and still quite small (has all the info about up & coming rallies on it) and of course I am on here.
This is the main forum I use though, there are more rides organised on here and a lot more chat about everything and you guys are the best friends to have Thumbs Up

400greybike (when it's working) but only for bike-specific things - I don't really chat in the general sections there or owt.

Also a member on a female bike forum, but only really cause a few of my 'real-life' biker mates are on there.

I'm not really myself on there so much, on the whole the women are a lot more sensitive and easy to offend!!!

I like being able to be the crude, sarcastic arse that I am on BCF.

Not really, I used to post on visordown every so often but they've messed up big time with that place so I haven't gone back since. I lurk on TRC every so often but haven't got round to registering on there yet, may do at some point.

When I was young and impressionable I posted on 2passforum - becoming a biker then I joined BCF and saw the error of my ways.

I do browse other forums such as: V-Strom Forum, Strom Trooper, and Suzuki Owners Club but I'm not a member, I just glean info from the techincal/workshop sections.

I also used to read a very small local forum, and by small I mean it had 8 members and from the looks of the link, it has since expired: Gloucestershire Bikers.

So these days I come here and snort at the quips of pwntifex et al.
