Just been on a lunchtime blast, it's sunny and baking hot... I just want to go back out again and ride until I can't afford petrol!

Loads of bikers out, lots of nods, dry roads... Heaven!

pah, wimp! Wink

Agree whole heartedly Toby. Work let me out the other day to pick up a laptop from a site 10 miles away from where I work. Not very long, but twisty, sun shining, engine screaming and hardly any wind. Beautiful.

Nothing that needs to be done is important enough to warrant starving yourself of happiness and enjoyment Thumbs Up

I noticed the same in Wigan yest and today in Bootle.
Went out for a lunch, and a ride. LOADSA bikers, LOADSA nods, LOADSA fun, LOADSA sun.

But remember people, stay safe. Its crazy out there when the sun is out and the weather is nice.

Dont forget to pack ur shades when u leave in the morning. I didnt have mine on the way to bootle this mornin and spent a fair bit of the journey use one hand to shade my eyes.

Yeah its been sunny, but with a bit of bite around here for the last few weeks. This week its been pretty good though, apart from the foggy mornings and the nippy nights.

Can't wait until April/May. Laughing

Bit of both... I could see if any of my neighbours have a battery booster, or bump it down the long hill next to my house.

Or I could sit in the warm, and perouse BCF.

I think I made the right decision.

While you're at it, you could get a headstart on bagging my groceries, if you like.

It's awesome at the moment, but still pretty icy most mornings, so I tend to leave riding until mid afternoon, then go for a razz.

Monday was cold and a little bit misty, but in the evening I didn't need my heated grips on. Tuesday there was freezing fog over the Severn and due to a shunt on the M5 I had to filter for 20 mins, on the way home I needed the grips on. Today, oh my god was it cold, I put the grips on before I left the garage, and freezing fog for 25 miles, I sat behind a white Ford Escort estate at 60 mph in lane one till the fog lifted slightly at Michael Wood services.

I said to my wife last night that I was experiencing a bit of weave from the front at 90 mph. All the articles say this is the case for a V-Strom, what they fail to point out is that I don't get it unless it's wet or icy. I can't wait till I have warm tyres again... Mr. Green

This is probably going to be a jinx of somesort, but I just cant believe the good weather. It still gets dark at about 5.30pm and is quite cold at night, but for about 5 days now its been sunny and clear ALL freekin' day.

Been enjoying some smallish blasts on some of the country routes around here. Its nice to be able to get some lean going proper again and actually be able to get heat in the tyres.

This winter hasnt been all that bad and I seem to remember last winter being worse, but days like these are what makes it all worth it.

If I can have such good rides on only the odd nice warm(ish day now) I cant friggin wait until the proper summer, when we actually get the occasional boiling hot day. Where tarmac is sticky and you need to stop for an Ice cream.

Oooooooh Im getting all excited. Mr. Green

Going to be my first summer biking and I'll be hitting the Dales and Lake District most weekends in the summer I'd have thought. Hopefully it will just be a bike mecca out there with everyone out enjoying the weather, roads and countryside!

I remember driving to the Lake District as a kid and just seeing streams of bikes riding around.
I used to be inside, looking out at the riders in awe.
Now it will be me on the outside, looking in at some kid who's in awe Smile

Cannot wait!
